Hi, my name is Ravali (రవళి) and I am deeply passionate about social justice and representation. I am currently a co-founder and first time (social) entrepreneur building Esther, working with bright and wonderful young women graduates from marginalized castes across rural and semi rural Telangana, making the transition out of college into the world of careers. All of my working life, I've been in the social change space. I have, over the years, grown to appreciate the complexities of social systems and problems, and consciously been unlearning some mental models that my mechanical engineering training has gifted me with. My time at Teach For India, Indian School of Development Management, CPL Fellowship, SRIJAN India, and Udhyam Vyapaar not only helped me build knowledge and skills, but more importantly exposed me to diverse perspectives that enabled me to develop the strong value-alignment and world views that are foundational for leaders of social change organizations. I am dedicated to working at the intersection of gender and caste for the rest of my life, and I hope to make systems work for the many and not just for the few through everything I do.I also carry a deep love for Hyderabad, math, food, chai, bougainvillea bushes, percussion instruments, Dravidian languages, Indian handloom textiles, and satire.
