As a Youth Sports Site Lead for local elementary school location of youth sporting events. Prepare necessary equipment, signage, and documentation for events. Review staff and game schedule prior to events. Equip through training and relationship sports instructor staff with tools to successfully complete reefing, clock management, and sports instruction. Act point of contact for sports staff, coaches, school administrator, athletes, and their families. Lead relief efforts in the event of an emergency.As a Membership Services Representative I perform all necessary duties to meet YMCA member needs. Be knowledgeable on past, current, and upcoming events across departments. Facilitate sales through phone inquiries and campus tours. Operations of systems obtain all memberships and programs. Representatives are tasked to engage with members to develop relationships to earn loyalty to Y Mission.

As a member of the Children's Ministry team I assist in child care needs for bible study, rehearsal, and services. My assignment is with heavily with pre- school age 3-5 years old. I assist lead teacher to monitor play time, crafts, bible story, games, and snack. Regular parent engagement at pick up and drop off. Occasional parent intervention to assist in discipline efforts for student.

As a P.E Teacher I created curriculum based upon weekly biblical theme and age specific (rising Kindergarten-rising 6th grade students). Teach curriculum including health, wellness, and nutrition education. P.E instruction required management of P.E budget when requesting class materials. Lead Chapel praise and worship exercises.

Maintained constant surveillance of guest in the facility; enforcing safety precautions. Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an emergency. As a Public Ally AmeriCorps member I was charged with service of the National My Brother's Keeper Initiative.The My Brother’s Keeper Alliance (MBKA) vision is to make the American Dream available to all boys and young men of color by eliminating gaps in their opportunities and outcomes. Intervening at critical points across the lifecycle and around specific issue areas is vital to fostering intergenerational improvements in outcomes for boys and men of color. MBKA will focus its efforts from cradle to college and career. As an Intern I work with my fellow Public Allies of North Carolina (PANC) cohort to participate in a policy scan examining policy impacting Black Men and Boys of Color (BMOC), and compiling/evaluating Durham resources to aid BMOC. Evaluate and participate in the completion of health recommendations created for Durham County. Assist other ally members working in areas of Job training/Placement, Education, Court Involvement, and Community Engagement.
