Banking Center Manager Nov 2006 – Dec 2007Planned, organized, directed, controlled and evaluated the branch operations of a bank. While managing deposits of over $5M and loans of $1M, the team increased checking, savings and credit card sales by 122% or more in each category last quarter under my supervision and held the highest percentage of referrals for treasury management products in the Arkansas area. Facilitated a monthly new hire orientation to welcome new associates, introduce the history of Bank of America, and go over benefits, enrollment and sales process, to increase performance and employee morale.

Responsible for coordinating all departmental training, conferences, seminars, symposiums, information grant sessions, recruitment and seminars. During recruitment events sourced applicants via internet, attended collegiate and career fairs. Facilitated training to include Adult Learning Principles to meet department needs. Liaised with the training group to ensure training met production requirements. Created and implemented new policies and procedures.

Trained new staff on billing procedures to comply with Arkansas Medicaid standards; ADAP, JCAHO, HECFA, HIPPA, and state law requirements. Facilitated a monthly training for Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as facilitated staff in effective techniques for workflow management. Created and updated policies and procedures to maintain compliance under state law and maintained time worked and leave for staff, and conducted external office interviews, reference/background checks to ensure candidate met our qualifications and professional expectations.
