Collates census information in 120 bed facility from the both nursing units, to ensure the accurate and timely reporting of census in the billing system.Responsible and Accountable for the monthly billing of Veterans Administration, Medicare Part A, B, and Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO). Input resident financial information into the billing system and maintain accurate and complete electronic and hard copy financial documentation of all Medicare residents.Responsible for generating all Medicare and HMO claims in an UB-04 format and the electronic transmittal of all validated Medicare claims through the PC ACE / Ivans Portal System.Assures that billing days, Assessment Reference Dates, and Resource Utilization Group rates are correct on the Minimum Data Set assessment summaries, UB-04’s, and the Daily Census.Conducts monthly audit of all reimbursement from third party insurance companies, Medicaid, Medicare, Veteran Administration, Hospice, and individuals.
