Sandra has become a sought-after public speaker, and the author of three books, one of which earned her the People’s Choice Award for the best in “true crime” category. For several years, her books were included in the Criminal Justice programs at the University of the Fraser Valley, and Algonquin University in Ottawa. She was the co-founder, and Executive Director of Families Against Crime & Trauma and creator of a Victim’s Point of View course for first responders. You’ll often find Sandra volunteering in community, coordinating random acts of kindness through the Matthew Martins Legacy, or presenting on anti-bullying initiatives for children at risk, and for corporate seminars. Her years of community service and passion for social justice has allowed her to excel and build an international network that focuses on improving the lives of those most in need.
