Handling the sourcing of laboratory and R&D consumable: - Lab Chemicals - Glassware - Instruments and spares - Columns.Timely deliveries of Raw Materials.

Job Profile:-Solicit and analyze both verbal quotations and competitive sealed bids.-Analyze and review all requisitions for complete information and proper authorization.-Sourcing of domestic and imported Raw Materials (Chemicals, Catalyst, Solvents, Reagents and excipients) for Beta Lactams and Non Beta Lactams API’s, Sterile and ClavHandling the sourcing of laboratory and R&D consumable: - Lab Chemicals- Glassware- Instruments and spares- ColumnsSupporting the PTP Process for all direct spends Timely deliveries of Raw Materials.Circulation of BI Monthly and various other MIS reports- Monthly RM Prices- Purchase Updates- RM delivery status Follow-up with Logistics for timely clearance of import shipments and provide the required documents for clearance.Timely release the payments of supplier - Support to minimize Inventory carrying Cost & Improve Payment Terms, and manage payables.- Ensure supply continuity to maintain uninterrupted production and optimize total cost of sourcing.- Monitor closely Suppliers performance wrt to Quality, Delivery Performance and response to changes in requirements/Schedules- New vendor master initiator for all the direct spends- Explore & Develop new suppliers wherever feasible and keep updated market knowledge:- Arranging the samples- Arranging the VQ Documents- Follow up for QC approval- Arranging the material for plant trials - Coordination with Finance, DSCM, Suppliers and DAI’s business partners to ensure proper communication, flow of documentations as required, regarding LCs opening for the assigned Raw Materials follow up with the Bank, Internal LC Desk for timely receipt of documents- Interview vendors and maintain contact by written or telephone correspondence. Recommends substitutes whenever applicable to save cost or improve delivery of products, as well as solve invoice discrepancies and associated problems for area of Responsibility.
