I also developed early concepts in automotive hybrid transmissions and earned two engineering patents too.I mentored over 150 individuals and each one shaped me to be a better person. One experience that inspires me everyday is a visually-challenged student, Srikanth Bolla, who I mentored between 2008 and 2015 through his graduation from MIT Sloan, and starting of his first company. He taught me the difference between sight and vision. Jul 2004 - Jul 2008Austin, Tx, UsE2open provides multi-tier supply chain collaboration and execution solutions delivered in the form of SaaS. 787 Dreamliner is the first airplane to be completely outsourced by Boeing to multiple tiers of component suppliers around the world, and E2open was chosen as the solution provider. I was chosen to be the first Program Director to lead the solution design and implementation of multiple releases of the solution, to handle supplier POs, forecasts, invoices, ship notices & inventory updates. Boeing 787 is in production now and took the first commercial flight on Oct 2011.- Led a global team of 22 solution architects, technical leads, programmers, testers and customer support engineers to successfully launch Fifteen (15) different releases of the solution over a three year period for Boeing. The E2open team delivered the first release in just 87 days, a record.- Success at Boeing led to the creation of Aerospace & Defense practice at E2open, which then resulted in multi-tier supply chain projects at Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems & Missile Systems divisions. Supported the sales cycles and eventually led first four (4) solution releases for Raytheon.- Worked closely with Boeing and its suppliers’ executives to define program requirements, assess risks, and developed a program plan that became a model (Letters of appreciation from Boeing).- Initiated creating Implementation Best Practices documents, using Boeing and Raytheon experiences for other program directors to follow. As the ‘Go-to’ expert during this entire period helped with sales cycles and project implementations at Applied Materials, Vodafone, Spansion, Dell.- Ran Hitachi GST account for two years and generated $2M in services revenue.- Awarded E2open Juggler Award for effectively handling multiple accounts and programs. -

I was recruited on-campus at Univ. of Michigan to create a ‘Computational Analysis Team’ from scratch, to design, prototype and test new concepts for transmissions in hybrid vehicles. As a Technical lead, I led a team of business analysts that performed finite element and computational fluid dynamic simulations on Automotive Drive Train components. Our state-of-the-art design and simulation capabilities won our company new patents, and several new businesses to make advanced torque converters for Hybrid cars and CVTs (continuously variable transmissions).- Worked on multiple projects for clients such as, GM, Ford, Allison, Mercedes Benz, and Audi. - Mentored new engineers in US and Germany and was involved in their training and career growth.
