•Design power system protection solutions and protection relay settings for various substation, transmission and distribution projects•Development of protection philosophies, selection of protection relays, protection logic, control, indications/alarms, and metering schemes•Undertake detailed designs and assessments of protection equipment•Perform fault studies to prepare protection settings reports and relay configuration•Preparation and review of engineering design documents•Engineering datasheets, such as equipment, cable and IO schedules. •Equipment sizing and selection•Power systems analysis utilising ETAP and PowerCad•Instrumentation design•Control system design•Interaction with inter-discipline engineers to execute multidiscipline projects•Site audits•Electrical engineering experience, including HA, ELV & LV design•Equipment commissioning and fault-finding experience•Well-developed interpersonal skills•Development and Update of work instructions and work-packs for Critical Function testing• Development of client reports to communicate results and recommendations•Ownership of small projects, managing from start to finish •Practical and theoretical knowledge in electrical engineering•Experience in undertaking concept and detailed design of a broad range of electrical systems•Experience in preparing and reviewing reports and technical specifications•The ability to liaise with clients, statutory authorities, and other consultants•Experience working closely with other mechanical, structural, hydraulic, civil and other engineers •A Practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety•Knowledge of Australian electrical engineering design standards, codes and practices;•Passionate about innovation and technology•Driven and achievement orientated•Find satisfaction in creating positive change
