Hello! I am a graduate student researcher at the University of Pittsburgh. I successfully defended my thesis in July ('22) and am set to graduate with a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in December ('22). My research focus has been on characterizing the function and regulation of a family of protein trafficking adaptors, known as alpha-arrestins, using a yeast model system. Among the many techniques and skills I have acquired, I am particularly interested in pursuing further training in advanced microscopy applications. Previously, I was a high school AP Biology teacher for 4 years and continue to have a passion for education.
