I have written several books. My two latest are:Sight and Insight. Sight and Insight is a group discipleship study designed for Christians who want more than a superficial relationship with Christ. The book covers issues of identity, the priesthood of believers, and the daily practices that can help to enhance our Christian walk. As a professor, I have been exposed to some of the most dreadful writing imaginable. Students are arriving on campus unprepared to write at the college level, and, though I am not an English professor, I couldn't stand by and watch as my students struggled. After searching for resources that could assist my students and finding only dry writing books that most students would not read if their lives depended on it, I decided to write a short, amusing, honest book that will enable high school and college students to produce academically viable work. So far, I have loved the result. After reading the book (which only takes a couple hours to get through, even for slow readers) the improvement I've seen has been amazing. Students need to know this stuff, but it's obvious to me that they are not getting it prior to arriving on campus.
