I started working in the security industry in 1989. I asked some of my family to join me in 1991 as we established our new company. We were primarily in house arrest and ignition interlock and as our customers asked or suggested we add to our company so in reality our customers shaped our company. We no longer work in house arrest or ignition interlock and our primary focus is security systems and integration for Schools, Courthouses and Jails. We added banks several years ago and now service banks all over Texas. Our security solutions are still based on customers needs and we focus on helping in any way we can. We helped two Texas Pandhandle schools and they asked if we could provide a new service for them. We met their needs and launched a new company in 2014. Ray has NRA personal firearms certification, Texas DPS LTC instructor and Texas DPS School Safety Trainer which is an active shooter program based on the ALLERT program. That new company is “On The Mark Enhanced Tactical Training, LLC”. Through On The Mark we added firearms training with our law enforcement/military grade laser training system. We have helped almost 100 schools train their staff to carry and how to protect their kids. This training and years of working with all Law Enforcement prompted Kenny Burns, Dept Chair Professional and Energy Professor of Law Enforcement Academy South Plains College, to ask Ray Dunn to be on the Board of Advisors for the Law Enforcement Academy. Through our 33 years in the security business we have continued to add new products. In 2022 we added DefenseLite and BulletShield to add a new level of security for our customers. DefenseLite and BulletShield market a polycarbonate shield that adds an additional level of security. DefenseLite Pro is a sheet of polycarbonate added to windows and doors that is almost Indestructible. We tested the product and could not even scratch it with an axe, sledge hammer, baseball bat, brick and crowbar. We are pleased to have this new level of security added to our security cameras, access control, and silent panic alarm systems.
