My professional experience is highly geared towards Continuous Improvements Tools and Techniques this comes from working for a Japanese company throughout and after my mechanical engineering apprenticeship.I am degree qualified, NEBOSH and yellow/green belt six sigma to reference a few key qualifications.I have specified, purchased, installed and commissioned many pieces of new equipment including high precision machine tools for the ball bearing manufacturing industry.I am also fortunate enough to couple this with Operational Management experience at Howdens which included major re-structuring with some of my departments closing and others being re-structured.The second phase of my Operational Management experience was based in China with LINPAC Packaging this role involved stabilising the Operation and implementing LINPAC standards to the business in areas such as Human Resources, Finances and Operations. This was both a very challenging but very rewarding stage of my career.As Best Practice Sharing Leader I headed up a Community Of Practice which had members from each of the relevant LINPAC sites. The primary objective of this team was to deliver rapid changes across our Global Operations to take advantage of the learnings.Since that role I have been directly involved with engineering management at both Linpac and Greencore this is a great role which I enjoy.My goals are always to strive to make things better, faster and cheaper in a safe way.Professionally I am aiming to become a Senior Manager involved in the area of Operational Improvements.
