PROFESSOR RAYMOND SACKSMBBCH , FCS(SA)ORL,FRACS, FARSRay Sacks is Clinical Professor and previous past Head of Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at both Macquarie University in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and at Sydney University where he has recently stepped down as Head of ENT Surgery.He is currently the Chair of the Court of Examiners for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and site on the Federal Council for the Royal College of Surgeons.He is the Current President of the Australian Society of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Society and is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society.He is a past Chief Examiner in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is the Immediate Past President of the Australian and New Zealand Rhinologic Society. He is a Past President of the NSW branch of the ASOHNS Society and has convened multiple conferences and Endoscopic Sinus Surgical courses and workshops throughout Australia, Asia and North America.Ray is on the Editorial Boards of both the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy and the Journal of Laryngology and Otology .He is also a reviewer for multiple international journals including Laryngoscope, Rhinology , Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, International Forum for Allergy and Rhinology and Ophthalmic,Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.He has been a member of the Board of the International Rhinologic Society and the Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for many years and is currently the only Surgeon from Australia to have been honoured with Honorary Life membership to the European Rhinologic Society for his contribution to Teaching Rhinology in Europe.He has published more than 150 papers in peer reviewed journals and written 23 book chapters as well as co-editing a textbook on "Endoscopic Orbital Surgery" published by Thieme in 2017 and since translated and published in China.
