For more than 13 years, I was responsible for the finishing and delivery of hundreds of hours of long form, primetime network and cable television programming. My duties have encompassed executing and supervising many aspects of post-production including:➢ Creation and compositing of graphics and text elements from titles to credits➢ Music composition and editing, dialogue, efx and voice-over recording and editing➢ Final audio conform, mix and layback➢ Final program assembly, formatting, color correction and quality control➢ Repurposing of programming for foreign and home video markets➢ Management of new and archival film and tape elements Most of my previous broadcast work was done with Grass Valley Group equipment and Editware editing software. Most recently, I have been producing and editing projects using my own Adobe Creative Suite system and also have a working knowledge of other non-linear editing programs such as Avid Media Composer and ProTools. As a certified and accredited Pro Tools operator, I have created mixes for broadcast and home entertainment programs, some employing a 5.1 surround matrix. I'm familiar with broadcast technical specifications, as well as general formatting and delivery requirements. Also, I have accrued an empirical technical understanding of editing systems and recording technology, having played a key role in the design, installation and implementation of the studios and hardware systems that I’ve utilized. My work has been seen and heard by millions of people in programs that have received Emmy nominations and a Grammy Award. I believe that my broad and varied experience in broadcast post-production has provided me with the qualifications and expertise to help execute the realization of nearly any type of programming project from concept to delivery.Specialties: video production and post-production, video editing, audio recording, editing and mixing, music production, recording and editing, writing/editing.Recently, I've acquired Sony 4K camcorders/cameras and lighting equipment to shoot interviews, green screen and other elements. My studio includes Adobe Creative Suite, Davinci Resolve, Digital Performer, Harrison Mixbus, Reaper and a full complement of plugins by Izotope and Waves for mastering and finishing.
