Part of a 6-person team developing biomedical wearables for accessible control. I work on a range of tasks:• Building and making continual improvements to our head-tracking system;• Creating drivers for analog and digital sensors on bare-metal/RTOS microcontrollers in C/C++• Implementing signal-processing algorithms to minimize noise in EEG/IMU sensors;• Interfacing new sensors/actuators into our firmware;• Building test software (scripts, GUIs) to streamline testing and tune firmware parameters on the fly;• Participating in UX design discussions, code reviews, and internal user studies.• Debugging issues in the firmware using JTAG probes, USB-TTL devices, oscilloscopes, etc.;• Conducting internal experiments to improve the user experience and system efficiency; • Coordinating with industrial designers and hardware engineers to ship our products to clients!

Working in a team of 20+ researchers on a web accessibility project, designed to provide audio-haptic representations of visual content for blind and low-vision users.¹• Brainstormed, designed, and prototyped audio-haptic renderings for photographs, maps, line charts, and stock charts in Java and TypeScript with UX team and other haptic researchers. • Designed, conducted, and analyzed user studies with blind users to evaluate the viability of a low-cost haptic device (Haply 2diy) against a high-end tactile display (Dot Pad) in multimodal settings for maps and charts on the web.• Created TypeScript API to integrate a force-feedback hardware device into a web extension that dynamically generates audio-haptic representations of graphics for blind and low-vision users. • Conceptualized and developed authoring/prototyping tool in TypeScript to rapidly create, edit, and distribute interactive audio-haptic experiences through touch gestures for a refreshable tactile display. Created a plug-in framework that can be used to automatically generate experiences for certain types of graphics. - I provide on-site system and equipment installation and training of our thermal printing machines, and provide support and maintenance services to our customers throughout Pakistan and some of Asia whenever customers reports faults.- I also provide web applications / demonstrations and training of our machine if customers express interest. - Cleared theoretical and practical training tests in Sri Lanka to become a certified service engineer for the machines (certificates attached below).- I have also written Excel macros and Python scripts to automate some of the sales work (e.g. in our Oracle database system and organizing data into specific formats for Excel).- Generic maintenance engineering work such as repairing in-house machines whenever faults arise and documenting them in a spreadsheet.- Wrote contracts for the installation of new machines.

I developed an IDE in C#.NET complete with syntax highlighting, auto-completion, code snippets, macros, a built-in assembler, tool-tips and several other features to assist in 65c816 ASM language. Also developed various tools and wrote assembly patches. I also published Assembly tutorials that have been viewed 100,000 views.

Worked in the boiler & balance of plant departments & performed a thermodynamic analysis of the plant using the Rankine Cycle and designed flow-diagrams for the electricity generation process, from water screening to turbine rotation. Also suggested to the team various methods to reduce power losses in their Plant I power units.
