About Rayane Echikr

I am a Business Intelligence Analyst at EIT Manufacturing looking at the latest trends in the EU manufacturing industry such as composite materials, hydrogen, and batteries. I am passionate about geopolitics, strategic foresight, cybersecurity, and the means to reach industrial sustainability and decarbonisation. My skills are focused on web mining to find relevant data and to turn them into strategic and actionable insights. This involves scouting startups and SMEs, establishing competitive benchmarks, and creating technology and market reports on various industries (e.g. electronics, aerospace, robotics). Working on several projects, I facilitate insights and collaboration between people. I also curate and produce content for a monthly newsletter that includes use-cases, EU projects, learning facts, and startups as a community moderator in EIT Manufacturing´s social network AGORA. I am fascinated about the complexity of our world and try to develop a holistic view through a lot of reading, analysis, and interviews on eclectic topics. This drive to connect the dots led me to do a masters in strategic intelligence and innovation, having started out originally in the sciences.
