Following my time at Macquarie Group, I moved into a Dispute Resolution Specialist role at the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA), in September 2023. This has been a great opportunity to investigate and resolve complaints from an impartial perspective, as I don't work for either the complainant, or the financial firm. It has helped me enhance my complaint management skills, as well as allowing me to truly see the points of both parties.I have found AFCA a great place to work, and have been provided with exceptional support and a genuine concern for my wellbeing.From June 2022 to September 2023, I worked at Macquarie Group as a Client Care Specialist. The role involved managing complaints related to the Macquarie Wrap product, which includes listed securities, term deposits, managed funds, super, and pension products.Between February 2019 and June 2022 I worked as a Complaints Resolution Specialist for Link Group, on behalf of AustralianSuper. This involved complaint investigation and resolution, utilising my excellent knowledge of superannuation and communication skills.Prior to this I was a phone and chat based Customer Service Consultant in the AustralianSuper Contact Centre.In this role I assisted our members and employers with their enquiries, resolved issues they had and provided detailed information about our Fund.
