My duties involved rendering outpatient care to unit personnel. This care included but was not limited to, initial medical screening (obtaining blood pressure, pulse, temperature and documenting the results, the symptoms and the patient input) and assigning a priority based on the clinics protocol. Also, provided emergency medical care in field operations as well as the clinical environment. Emergency care included but was not limited to treating cuts and scrapes to broken bones and gunshot wounds. Also involved in the care and transport of litter casualties, and coordinated air evacuations from the front line or field operations.• Assigned as a clinical medic during my tour of Nuremberg. Duties included providing medical care to unit personnel who were requesting medical attention. These tasks involved (obtaining blood pressure, pulse, temperature and documenting the results, the symptoms and the patient input). My duties also involved transporting severe injuries to regional hospitals. Also provided medical support at local area American High School sports competitions.• Assigned as an infantry/clinical medic during my tour of duty at Fort Stewart, GA. My responsibilities were similar to the two previous duty assignments, except that I was serving in a senior capacity with more responsibility in training and evaluating the performance of junior personnel. I organized and taught classes for assigned unit personnel in CPR, heat exhaustion, and emergency medical treatment.
