Responsible for routine activities in RCH carrying out admission, assessment of pregnant women attending clinics. Some of core responsibilities were• Performing counselling and initiating PITC for all women enrolled in Clinic• Assessment of nutrition status, full body assessment of pregnant women and provision of Malaria Prophylaxis, FEFO and Biochemistry test.• Counselling support, educating and guidance for families whose infants tested positive• Provision of family planning modern methods to clients attending hospital, IUDs, Implants and birth control pills and other reproductive health support to youth• Working in EID within the PMTCT program provides an opportunity to contribute to the overall goal of reducing HIV transmission from mother to child. It requires a strong understanding of HIV diagnostics, laboratory processes, data management, and counseling skills
