I have more than 40 years of insurance regulatory experience including 32 at the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance with more than 20 years in senior managerial roles such as Assistant Commissioner and Chief Insurance Examiner. I have extensive experience in interacting with regulator and insurance entities in a variety of areas. Since "retiring" from the Department in 2012, I have assisted regulators, insurance entities and consultants with their financial, market regulation and compliance needs. I am currently the Managing Member of Conover Insurance Regulatory and Compliance Services.
