My broad experience in a specialist field allows me to build successful projects from the ground up. During a career spanning 45 years I have taken many ideas to market. Not all ideas work and I have had the foresight to redirect as necessary to maintain our competitive advantage. My company, AppliCad is a specialist CAD/CAM development company and we now export our 3D roof and wall modelling and material estimating program to 148 countries. In July 2011 we launched our new software for the design and modelling of solar PV and thermal systems based on accurate solar radiation and shadow mapping of the client's structure. In 2016, we merged the solar functions with our roofing software to address the needs of all those roofing guys doing solar as well.We recently launched the latest version of our flag ship product Roof Wizard, the most comprehensive update to our software we have ever released.Specialties: My specialty is understanding our customer's needs and ensuring that my development team deliver according to that need. I have written all our technical documentation, the product manual itself consisting 900+ pages. I have developed all of AppliCad's branding and marketing material and managed the company's participation in over 75 international trade shows.
