I have more than 40 years’ experience living and working in the USA, India, Europe and Australia, advising corporations, government and not-for-profit groups on organisational change, culture, governance and leadership initiatives. My cultural and leadership initiatives have benefited multi-national and Fortune 500 corporations, micro-economies and rural communities alike, right across the world.I am Chair of ZEN Energy and the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). I am also the Founding Partner of RSVP Ventures, overseeing an investment portfolio of more than a dozen companies in the United States and Australia. Previously, I was Chair of the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and the South Australian Economic Development Board. I was also Chair and CEO of Kanbay International, Inc (KBAY). As a founder in 1989, I led Kanbay from inception through to acquisition by Capgemini in 2007, by which time Kanbay had more than 8500 associates in 14 cities across eight nations. It was one of the top five performing IPOs on the NASDAQ in 2004 and was ranked #9 on BusinessWeek’s ‘Hot Growth Companies’ list in 2005. I am proudly South Australian, born in 1950 in Adelaide. I attended law school at the University of Adelaide. I was inducted into the Chicago Area Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2003 and named Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 for the Illinois Region.I served as a board member of the Information Technology Association of America for five years and was named a Laureate in the Computerworld Honors Program, which distinguishes innovators around the world whose visionary use of information technology produces and promotes positive social change. I was awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters by the University of Arizona recognising my work on Ethical Leadership and Organisational Culture.Today, I harness the experiences I’ve had, the lessons learnt and the people I’ve met to create and foster and grow new and exciting opportunities in emerging industries around the world.
