As a Project Engineer, Raymond Middleswarth is responsible for airport design, construction and project management at both primary and general aviation airports. He has 8 years of experience working on all aspects of airport improvement projects from conception to bidding and construction. His comprehensive airside design experience includes 2D and 3D design of new runways, taxiways, aprons, fuel facilities, SRE buildings, concourse expansions, hangars, roadways, site design, drainage, utilities, electrical, airfield lighting, signage, marking, navaids, fencing and engineering studies. He is also experienced in construction management and inspection for both large and small interdisciplinary projects. Raymond has been involved in projects that have won several excellence awards from Michigan Concrete Association. Raymond is a team member of the Aviation Construction Transformation (ACT) team at C&S. ACT is a company-wide initiative to provide a high level of service on all types of aviation projects that will be recognized nationally. The ACT team has developed forms and SOP’s for high-level project management and support systems for all field staff through use of enterprise level construction system standards and e-construction software. Raymond is the ACT representative for the Midwest and Southeast regions, where he facilitates e-construction setup and administration for large and small projects. He is leading a team focused on developing advanced quantity tracking, cost projection and document tracking systems utilizing Bluebeam Revu, Appia and DocExpress. Raymond is also leading an industry-leading team to develop an innovative SQL database and accompanying software program (“AirCost”) to manage FAA and DOT specifications to simplify cost estimating, shop drawing logs, material certification logs and bid analysis. The program will also allow for efficient API connection to e-construction softwares such as Appia.

Atlanta, Georgia

• Led a small team to design and build an artificial wetland on the Baruch campus for stormwater retention and biological remediation• Collaborated in several group research and design projects related to water quality, hydrologic modeling and lab work• Monitored water quality data from the various swamps, rivers and retention ponds using ISCO samplers and multi-parameter sondes• Assisted researchers with extra projects and operated YSI instrumentation including sondes, Total Stations and RTK survey equipment
