Performs a variety of technical, administrative, and developmental support related to the creation, maintenance, and analysis of high-level public safety spatial data, including managing GIS interns. Provides technical support, insight, and recommendations to senior county officials regarding spatial policies, goals and objectives. Coordinates GIS development programs with other county departments from conceptual design to final product delivery. Produces custom analytical maps upon request from county and township officials. Works independently and as part of a team to problem-solve complex spatial analysis, data conversions, and geoprocessing of raw spatial data. Work with the public, including township officials, on zoning complaints/violations and address their concerns. Educate the public regarding the content of the Isabella County Zoning Ordinance. Provides staff support to the Isabella County Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. Processes applications for zoning permits, special use permits, etc.

Duties include database creation and administration for the Gladwin County next generation 911 emergency response system utilizing high resolution aerial photography, data mining, and analysis. Work very closely with the GIS Administrator for resident address verification and quality assessment and control of database information.

Lead a team of subject matter experts in technical support projects for first responders and emergency management officials. Consult with and advise subject matter experts concerning proper emergency management assignments as they pertain to the Wyoming State Operations Plan to ensure future emergency response activities involve relevant personnel and are focused on problem solution and problem avoidance. Make recommendations on software and hardware purchase and installation. Maintain documentation of installed systems, archival storage and pseudo-code development for business process analysis. Design, monitor and provide continual updates to relational databases as needed. Provide guidance and support to co-workers and coordinate activities in support of enterprise guidance and policy. Assist in improving the data integrity, data editing, analysis, providing customer support, and training at Office of State Lands and Investments (OSLI). Ensure the continued support, training and enhancement of OSLI's GIS systems and provide backup support for other GIS services and functions. Assist in the supervision, training, evaluation and administration of several GIS team members. Analyzes, designs, implements and supports geographic-based software, hardware and technical solutions for the purpose of providing essential geospatial solutions in mission critical and public safety systems. Analyze, create, update, maintain, interpret, map, and provide technical assistance and user support for the geographic data used by many employees to perform their jobs more efficiently.

Primary responsibilities include instructing students on the topics of Science Technology and Society, Geology, Nature Studies and Computer Information Systems while maintaining the general education standards as set by the General Education Committee. At various times I am required to meet with students to discuss course objectives and strategies for success during their academic career. At all times serve as a champion for MMCC's mission and values to the students, public, staff and faculty.

Responsible for planning and developing student activities clubs and academic organizations while functioning as the Advisor for Phi Theta Kappa and Students of Promise. Facilitate the collaboration of national Phi Theta Kappa groups and MMCC's local chapter for professional activities. Maintaining departmental budgets and supervision of student employees in the student activities center. Promote the college's mission through community service activities, internally and externally.

Provide level II support of computer systems throughout the St. John's Network to include approximately 5000 customers documenting solutions and prioritizing computer system issues for resolution. Coordinate between staff and customers the installation and configuration of computer hardware and software systems. Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members and continuing education to existing staff members.
