This role included ensuring regulatory compliance, working within the bounds of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) in a Dairy Food Production environment, and ensuring works comply with Dairy Food Safety and customer requirements.Achievements:● Managed the mechanical relocation of a bag-in-box packing line to allow for future expansion and significant civil remedial works. This included establishing a new hygienic filling room to meet Dairy Safety Victoria compliance● Conducted an asset review of a satellite Milk Receival plant to determine the future viability of the site. This analysis assisted the business case to decommission the plant.● Developed and implemented a $60k asset revitalisation and reliability improvement exercise to improve the running of Automated Export Packing Line 2. This dealt with significant reliability issues on the machine stemming from an incomplete maintenance regime over several years.● Established the groundwork for a $600k Asset Cleanse Project, including designing and facilitating a $30k external audit of the Maintenance Organisation to benchmark realised maintenance gaps relative to best practice.● Supported the Maintenance Department in maintaining and providing critical review of the Condition Monitoring program, Lubrication program and providing technical support for both major R+M and business as usual R+MThis role, among several others, was made redundant in June 2018 due to a board-level organisation restructure.

This also included a site visit to Yufutsu mill in Hokkaido to compare maintenance practices and cultures● Conducted reliability improvement activities on Recovery Boiler 5 and 6's Induced Draught Fan System, improving online vibration monitoring and lubrication cooling systems as part of the project team● Conducted reliability improvements on the R5 Boiler Air systems as part of the project team to improve combustion air flow to help meet EPA emissions requirements● Designed and commissioned goods crane unloading platforms on R6 and R5, for the safe and efficient unloading of scaffolding, valves and goods to various floors of the building.Post this role, I was seconded to the Paper Machine 5 Break Frequency PMO, where I headed up the mechanical reliability section of the project, reviewing the rope system, spray pump system and supporting minor improvement tasks as identified by the PMO process
