During my tenure at Sacred Heart I was able to solve difficulties inherent with insufficient architecture. I managed the minimal available storage of file, mail, and several database servers which had been overloaded by implementing quotas and reassessing partition utilization. I completed a physical move of the servers and core networking equipment from the IT office to a dedicated closet, greatly improving the work environment and server health. I improved network throughput by re-configuring underutilized equipment. In addition to these improvements I was tasked with the daily repairs of laptops for a student body of over 600.
