I am currently an Assistant Principal at Dr. L.G. Pinkston Sr. High School in Dallas ISD.Before moving to Dallas in 2019, I spent most of my life growing up in the San Antonio area, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2017. I earned my Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University in 2021. In the summer of 2023, I began working on my Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership at Lamar University.I have taught 8th Grade Reading and English 4 in Harlandale ISD and English 1 Irving ISD; while in Irving, I have also served as a Team Lead and Department Chair for the English Department.I believe in working rigorously, collaborating equitably, showcasing compassion, and prioritizing empathy to reach high levels of success for all stakeholders.When not working, you can catch me hanging out with my two cats, Nile and Pickles, curled up reading a good book, going for a run, or watching reality television.
