Architects, interior designers, and developers are making material selections every day without knowing the impact on human health and the environment. Spec Matters is a free website and newsletter solving this problem by providing a hub of healthy building information. We are bridging the gap between scientific research and time and resource-constricted.

Working with the founding members of this non-profit organization, I developed and helped shape the Rise First brand. My efforts included graphic design from logo to business cards, marketing materials and web graphic content. My primary role at the launch of the organization was developing the design of the Rise First website and updating and maintaining.

Acting as the manager in charge of marketing efforts for the all-student run agency, duties included outreach efforts, building brand awareness and an online presence in the Penn and Philadelphia communities. I was also responsible for project management and utilization of various marketing techniques to bring in work for the agency.

Research was directed by Dr. Stefan Al - a Dutch architect, urban design professor, and founder of Stefan Al Architects, a firm dedicated to sustainable design. Duties included graphic editing for publication, 3D modeling in Rhino, drawing, diagram production, and graphic design. Designed exhibition for Dr. Al's research on informal settlements exhibited.

Produced construction drawings for a healthcare fit-out. Created SD drawings and renderings for a residential retrofit. Selected multi-family housing and healthcare interior finishes. Approved shop drawings and submittals.

Cincinnati Area, KY

As a Project Specialist, duties included close collaboration with Principals and Project Managers in project production from initial stages of site analysis to programming and schematic design through construction document production and construction administration. Contributions have included renderings, permit set drawings, graphics and marketing.

Developed an affordable housing project in Over-the-Rhine in a team of 8 members with the assistance of architects at CR architecture + design. Worked with professionals in various fields and meet with clients to determine desired outcome. Completed site investigations/measurements, develop drawings and renderings, met with consultants, presented a drawing.

Organized community building events and collaborated with other Resident Assistants. Duties included mediation, conflict resolution, administrative duties, and providing support and encouragement to residents for interpersonal and intrapersonal growth and development, as well as acting as a resource and mentor through their transition into college.
