An experienced strategy leader, Ruth is passionate about supporting Canadian businesses and bringing a diversity lens to emerging areas in digital such as marketing technology, content strategy, product and service design, next generation loyalty and customer experience. Drawing on in depth experience working with clients in social innovation, CPG and retail, financial services, health and wellness, government and not for profit, Ruth's focus is on digital strategy, customer experience and strategic communications. Ruth co-founded two digital agencies with successful exits and helped build digital-first business for several independent Canadian agencies. Through those experiences, she became passionate about supporting women in business and the community. As President of Women Entrepreneurs of Canada, and then working with clients such as Rotman's Initiative for Women in Business and the Business Women in Trade Program at Global Affairs Canada, Ruth has participated in many Canadian delegations to trade and women's business summits across Canada, the US, Mexico and the EU, including representing Canada and speaking at APEC’s first Women and the Economy Summit. Ruth is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Hospice Toronto, and is a past member of the Advisory Group for Women in Philanthropy for Providence, and the Board of Governors for St. Clement's school in Toronto.
