• Developed and deployed tree-based models for identifying the remaining useful life of various engine parts for helicopter and jet engines, resulting in a patent.

• Developed random forest and regularized GLMs for the Property Inspection Optimization Management system, a novel product offering for identifying risky properties for insurance providers.

• Statistical testing of crucial seismological concepts used in seismic hazard andearthquake occurrence models, which are important for building codes and nuclear safety.
• Developed R programs for reproducible online prospective evaluation of earthquakeforecast models (in production at the Collaboratory for the Study of EarthquakePredictability (CSEP)) and predictive models for ground.
• Used machine learning, spatial statistics, and hierarchical modeling to develop newpredictive models for ground motion and earthquake catalog completeness.
