I do childcare for MMM of Religous Society of Friends (Quakers). I care for children ages 5-10 while their parents are in worship, keeping them busy by leading activities such as arts and crafts, games, outdoor nature projects, story telling, etc. Sometimes other childcare providers are present and sometimes I am the sole adult caring for the group of children. I am also on the MMM First Day School Comittee where I help create childcare guidlines and hire new childcare providers or volunteers.

Each Halloween season I worked with the Haunted Concourse to assemble incredibly detailed sets and scenes for the annual Haunted House. On top of constructing sets, I frequently ran errands for artists and crewmembers for last minute needed tools or parts. Camp Woodbrooke is a small, overnight summer camp based on 200 acres of woods for children ages 7-13. In conjunction with 1-2 other staff members, each session I was in charge of a cabin of 3-6 boys The camp is nature based, meaning I led many activites like hiking, survial skills, gardening and so on. I also planned and led acitivites like teambuilding games, basketball, baseball, woodworking, music and crafts. Working in this position required a lot of patience, problem/conflict solving skills and steller communication.
