I have managed significant and rapid business growth, doubling in size from 11 to 23 in one year. I relocated from London to NYC in 2023 to re-open our physical office and presence post-Covid. I have created a new North America business plan, and am building a new client and partnership base, whilst re-building the brand and developing its profile. I was responsible for developing products, programs and concepts to support substantial, scalable, increases in participation and enhanced delivery of the strategy, as well as securing investment for them. I was responsible for developing and maintaining high level, strategic, relationships with a diverse range of people and organizations from the public, private and third sector. I created partnerships with external organizations, from brand agencies to corporates, with a view to increasing London Sport’s revenue as well as investment going in to grassroots physical activity and sport in London. In my first year I secured in excess of £350k.I was responsible for London Sport’s public affairs brief and regularly engaged with senior political figures and civil servants. I was a media spokesperson for the organizations and appeared on national and regional television and radio, raising awareness of London Sport and its work strategically, operationally and politically. I regularly delivered presentations, key notes and workshops to senior executives across a range of sectors and I was one of three media spokespeople for the charity with experience in television, radio and print interviews.I was responsible for income generation through both traditional fundraising, as well as by forming a trading subsidiary to deliver consultancy to the sport sector. I ensured that we met our commitments to key stakeholders and funders to include Sport England, Department of Health and various corporate investors. I provided strategic direction to my teams, and the charity as a whole, so that we commissioned and carried out the most appropriate research and then, crucially, used these insights to support the sector in providing a better service to, and for, women and girls. It was my responsibility to guide the organization through the annual production of these, and subsequently through the quarterly plan and risk reviews.I represented the Foundation with key football and sporting bodies such as the Football Association, the Premier League and Sport England, as well as on national and local radio broadcasts. I am responsible for ensuring that all projects have a viable sustainability plan or exit strategy to safeguard the legacy of the Foundation’s investments. I deliver presentations to a range of both statutory and non-statutory organisations, professional and amateur soccer clubs, the Football Association and its member County Football Associations. I support a number of professional soccer clubs and their community programmes.I represent the Foundation with key soccer and sporting bodies such as the Football Association, the Premier League and Sport England, as well as on national and local radio broadcasts. I liaise regularly with internal teams at the Foundation to develop and monitor processes to ensure that Community Team work is properly integrated into the various departments and functions of the charity, without duplicating tasks or allowing gaps in communication to occur.
