My creative passions were born in the 8th grade after having designed the cover of my junior high school yearbook. Many years later, I continue to be inspired by marketing problems in search of relevant creative solutions. I believe my 2 greatest strengths are the abilities to merge strategic thinking into relevant creative executions and, more importantly, putting the right people together to find solutions for any size problem. Although I am a trained Art Director, through my curiosity and vast experience I have become more of a hybrid which allows me to see and answer challenges through various lenses that also include strategy, production and account. I have also enjoyed success in managing sales, vendor and even client relationships. My previous work experience includes a combined 18 years at Dieste and Cultur8 where our focus was in the Multicultural market with an emphasis on Hispanic. In 2015 I was tapped to help develop and implement strategies and programs to help clients at The Marketing Arm take advantage of the tremendous growth in Multicultural segments. I also worked with internal strategic account, capability and practice leads to understand the Total Market landscape and help them uncover opportunities to expand their offerings as cultural diversity becomes the new normal. My extensive category experience includes beer & spirits, carbonated soft drinks, quick service dining, telecom, and apparel. Through-the-line experience includes branding, promotions, shopper and trade marketing. Past and current clients include Heineken, Pepsi, Frito Lay, Wrangler, Taco Bell, AT&T, House of Bacardi, Dr Pepper Snapple and Southwest Airlines. Through the years I was fortunate to have worked on campaigns that earned many prestigious awards including Addys, Clios, FIAP in Buenos Aires, London Festivals and Effies. In 2012, I was selected as the HispanicAd/AHAA Creative Director of the Year. This was a great honor that I am extremely proud to have received.
