• In collaboration with a cross-functional team, developed a User Manual for Breathe Technologies’ BT-V2S ventilator – an ultra-lightweight, wearable, volume-assist ventilator system designed to improve breathing and facilitate mobility for spontaneously breathing respiratory patients with a tracheostomy.• Content included instructions on connecting the ventilator to an oxygen source, CO2 and SpO2 monitors, setting up the ventilator for patient use, understanding and resolving alarms.• Documentation was designed and written in Word 2007. Other applications used in the project included Photoshop, Acrobat, and SnagIt.

Wrote user and service documentation for Siemens Medical Solutions product line of linear accelerators, accessories, and software. In collaboration with a medical physicist, developed the training package for MOMENTUM IGRT – Siemens image guided radiation therapy (IGRT) solution that uses the treatment beam and an amorphous-silicon imaging panel to provide 3D target imaging • Training package consisted of a Word document and a supporting PowerPoint presentation. Content included guidelines for commissioning, protocol setup, system configuration, couch verification, patient preparation, and analyses of several case studies • Developed a Word template for the project based on Siemens corporate design standards. Converted PowerPoint presentation to conform to the Siemens corporate template.

In collaboration with a cross-functional team, with hands-on interaction with application software and from digital video of engineering procedures, developed all the documents of the service suite for OPTIVUE CBCT – Siemens amorphous-silicon imaging panel and application software that provide 3-D target imaging and automatic correction for patient positioning offset • Service suite included Installation, System Configuration, Upgrade Instructions, Acceptance Test Procedure, Troubleshooting • Documentation was developed using Siemens proprietary content management system (CMS). Authoring tool was FrameMaker+XML. Rational RequisitePro and ClearCase were used to track documentation changes. Other applications used in the project included: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat; Visio, Camtasia; SnagIt.
