I like to work with passionate people to build great products. Over the years, I've built products in C, C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Objective-C, Swift, React, and Ruby. My most recent technical interests are security (SOC 2 and Vanta), data engineering (Redshift, Snowflake, and a lot of dbt models), and infrastructure as code (AWS, Terraform, CDK). I was the product and technical lead on- ReadySave: a Java based application that collects and stores purchase history from POS, matches the purchase history to discounted items in a grocery store, and display those items to loyalty card holders at a kiosk- Agilysys Retail Core: a set of Oracle POS enhancements that support JBoss, MySQL, and SpringSource Hyperic- NextPosition Mobile Point of Sale: a mobile POS product that is tightly integrated with Oracle, IBM, and SAP POS. This solution is available on Apple hardware (iOS, iPod Touch and iPad) and Motorola, Android-based hardware. Both versions are native applications built in Objective-C and Java.I also- managed software development teams (specifically Java, iOS/Objective-C, and Android)- been the technical contact for Agilysys Retail partners (IBM, Oracle, VeriFone, Motorola, and others)- helped support production 24x7x365 retail solutions- assisted with technical pre-sales- reviewed legal documents for technical accuracy- evaluated partnerships and acquisitions- planned trade shows- authored marketing material- co-authored the white paper, "Design and Deliver Mobile Point of Service"
