Set up socket communications with the mainframe to ensure effective Realtime updates to management tool. Set up FTP server to received documents from the mainframe for publication to downstream systems.Created an algorithm and tool to covert SGML documents on the mainframe to DITA XML documents with a 98% success rate. Transformed the DITA XML, using XSLT, generating up to 11 publish documents from a single DITA XML document. Improving the time to publish for announcements and sales manuals by 25+%. Collaborated with upstream data content to enable transfer of information and documents via web services. Gathered requirements, designed and implemented new web-based tool to handle workload, editing, and publication of announcements letters and sales manual documents. Supported, maintained and improved all tools.Moved from a fullstack monolithic application to a cloud-based application consisting of several microservices with REST API for communication methods between services and external applications.
