My goal is to make data accessible to all. The ability to communicate complex, technical, analytical concepts to any audience is what I pride myself on. Creating impactful visualizations, interactive dashboards, and data storytelling to support business initiatives are my strengths. In order to help build a data-driven culture I am constantly challenging myself to acquire new skills like Python, Machine Learning, and a well-rounded Data Scientist knowledge base. I am currently enrolled in a Data Scientist with Python track through Dataquest. One of my greatest measures of success comes from providing that “ah ha!” moment to all who I collaborate with.Key Projects• New Employee Experience Surveys - Ownership of entire project which included developing questions, researching survey platforms, designing layout, daily survey deployment, data collection, cleaning, warehousing, metric and dashboard development, text analytics, plus monthly reporting to multiple levels of the business. Findings from the survey resulted in changes to training and mentorship programs, compensation plans, manager development, and productivity tracking metrics, all which contributed to a reduction in voluntary turnover for the high volume sales organization.• Employee Engagement Survey - Provided survey design, deployment and tracking of survey participation, data collection and metric development. Collaborated with team members to develop scientific measures such as the Engagement Score and Employee Retention Score which proved to be valid predictors of future employee behavior (86% accuracy in predicting employee turnover).• COVID-19 Employee Impact Dashboard – Implemented in April of 2020 to help understand the impact of COVID-19 on our workforce. Dashboard updated daily to show key metrics such as confirmed cases vs turnover by state, Teladoc utilization, Employee furlough program utilization, Employee Assistance Program utilization and Unemployment claims management. This required continuous research and data cleaning from multiple third-party sources and helped guide the organization’s quick reaction and adaptation to the pandemic.Technical Skills:• Programming: SQL, Python• BI / Data Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, OBIEE• ETL: Tableau Prep Builder• Databases: Oracle
