Responsible for deliberate and crisis action planning to support 5 Air Force wings, 7th Air Forces, HQ PACAF, US Forces Japan, and US Pacific Command. Planned and evaluated bilateral logistics planning actions with Japan Air Self-Defense Force including field exercises and mutual support issues. Planned the cargo movement function of the Traffic Management Flight for the shipment of all DoD equipment and vehicles entering or leaving Okinawa. Directed inbound shipments and ensured priority processing of all Mission Capable parts. Controlled clearance of all Air Force sponsored area of responsibility cargo into the military air system.

Functioned in a joint capacity as the accountable officer to the Defense Fuels Supply Center for a $140M fuels stock fund account. Responsible for the management of 120 military personnel, 1 US and 3 Master Labor Contract employees, over 60 facilities with a total fuel storage capacity of 56 million gallons and fixed/mobile refueling equipment assets valued at over $25 million. Provided for receipt, storage, testing, distribution and accounting for over 100 million gallons of aviation fuel annually. Oversaw two 5-ton cryogenic production plants with 26K gallons of storage capacity to meet the oxygen and nitrogen requirements of all US military installations on Okinawa. 2001 Air Force Fuels Officer of the Year.
