Using LEGO® MINDSTORMS NXT® kits, the students have around 8 weeks to design and build an autonomous robot that competes in a tournament event against other schools.As Chair it is my responsibility to manage all the logistics including the venue, sponsors, volunteers, participation, and the challenges themselves. The most rewarding part of the whole experience is the satisfaction of working with the kids and watching the excitement on their faces as they learn how to build and program the robots.
