Diverse, dynamic, and driven-this captures who I am. With a rich range of experiences spanning various sectors, I offer a unique perspective and versatile skill set. From safeguarding diplomats as a Marine Embassy Guard to inspecting losses and writing insurance claims in the wake of a major hurricane, my journey has been anything but conventional. Following a brief stint into politics, which enhanced my communication and negotiation skills, I transitioned into the corporate world, I enthusiastically embraced the challenge of technical sales, specializing in Artificial Lift systems. Traveling extensively across the major oil producing regions of the US, learning the manufacturing, application, and technical nuances for beam pumping. In the aftermath of an oil and gas turndown, I seized the opportunity to broaden my expertise by joining Bechtel as part of their rental fleet logistics team, where I learned about lifting equipment, specifically cranes.I then ventured into education, serving as a CTE and History Teacher. Simultaneously, my entrepreneurial spirit and fascination with apiculture led me to establish a beekeeping and honey business where I gained first hand insights into sustainable agriculture- a passion I shared with my students. Fueling my passion for lifelong learning, I took on the endeavor of pilot training, something I have always wanted to do. Simultaneously, I am channeling my entrepreneurial drive into building a short term rental glamping business, leveraging my diverse skill set to create exceptional guest experiences. With each role and venture, I've gained invaluable insights, honed my problem-solving abilities, and a developed a keen understanding of what it takes to succeed in various endeavors.Currently, I'm seeking to reenter the oil field in a seasonal capacity, balancing my commitment to continue flight training as well as continuing to manage the short term rental business. Just as in my previous roles, I remain dedicated to embracing new challenges, leveraging my diverse skill set, and contributing to the success of every endeavor I take on.
