As a Vice President at JDI I’m focused on our creative services: from copywriting to graphic design and code, from photography to film and audio production. I’ve spent nearly 15 years as both a verbal and a visual communicator, helping companies large and small craft a narrative that speaks volumes. I’m a marketer by trade, but an artist at heart.I believe that the best designs in any medium are data-driven and customer-obsessed. After years as a communicator, I am building a unique creative department at JDI that looks at client challenges from the same side of the table as marketing itself. The majority of my experience lies in emerging consumer technology, with a focus on sports, entertainment, health and social impact. I’m proud to have worked with companies like Siri and Viv, Yahoo! Sports, the Daily Dot, Clear Labs, Kernel, Outbox, Food + City, Triggr Health, YouVersion (the Bible app,) Alamo Drafthouse, WorldQuant University, SRI International and the Entrepreneurs Foundation.Outside of my client work, I focus on discovering high-potential marketers, whether they’ve self-selected for this line of work or not. I also spend a lot of time helping my colleagues learn, grow, and find fulfillment in their work. At the end of the day, people are our product.My left brain and right brain are in constant dialogue. I’m a recovering b-school student who made a bet on communications and an aspiring amateur developer that harbors a deep, not-so-secret affection for old-school databases. Yet I love nothing more than to lose an afternoon drawing. I’m learning calligraphy as fast as I can, own an outrageous number of books that make moving extremely laborious, and bleed burnt orange.Previous to JDI I spent two and a half years at global agency Porter Novelli. There was no better place to learn the ropes; PN instilled in me the drive of an entrepreneur and opened my eyes to a wide world of innovation.
