WD Enterprises, Inc. is a holding company that invests in and develops media technology companies.- IDTV (acquired): WD Enterprises launched this gas-station television network (Digital Out of Home). Partnered with content provide WTNH (ABC News) to deliver news and weather. Developed advertising revenue from local advertisers and through national advertising networks.- SavingsClique.com (acquired): WD Enterprises launched this Daily Deals website as the first regional offering. The site offered hundreds of deals to consumers generating revenue for advertisers and the company. The quick and successful execution of the company became the subject of Duques' book: 37 Days to Launch.- Venture Magazines (acquired): WD Enterprises was a lead investor and board representative for the group, which published magazines in North Carolina in addition to digital content.

This start-up newspaper company quickly took market share from legacy newspaper groups, becoming one of the largest newspaper publishers in Connecticut. Entrepreneurs Ryan Duques and James Warner grew the company to start 14 newspapers and acquire two. The profitable company was sold in 2008 to The New London Day.

Acquired East Lyme Times and Waterford Standard to form Times Community Newspapers in Southeastern Connecticut. After the acquisition I co-founded six additional newspapers to provide full market coverage in Southeastern Connecticut.
