Helped launch the Advanced Life Support initiative at Columbia Fire Department as one of 3 primary paramedics selected to run the quick response medical unit citywide. This position required critical thinking, flexibility and decision making under pressure while operating in adverse environments with one teammate. Also used past technical experience to build an online staffing solution on a very limited budget. This replaced paper calendars and no longer required staff to call in the night before their shift to check which station to report to.
