Over the last 15 years, I’ve been investigating consumer behavior, transforming it into insights and valuable narratives. This experience has been developed in different positions: as a journalist, as a trends researcher, coordinating market research projects for large companies and also teaching cool hunting and consumer insights at creativity schools.After graduation, I worked at Folha de S.Paulo and Valor Econômico, whereI became an expert in consumption, writing about lifestyle market. In 2013, I started as a consumer trends researcher for Latin America at the English bureau TrendWatching, coordinating all reports about the region and participating in global reports. With Grupo Consumoteca, I created a new research methodology for future studies and I was their partner at Trop, the company’s trend research unit. Within Consumoteca, I also coordinated consumer behavior surveys for companies such as O Boticário, Nissan, Bradesco, C&A, Oi and E! Channel.In each position, from journalism to market research, what motivates me is a genuine curiosity concerning all aspects of human behavior. It’s also what drove me to pursue development in psychoanalysis, the area to which I dedicate my studies today. My biggest challenge is to observe behaviors, unveil the impacts of rapid changes in the world on people’s lives and help companies to connect better with them.
