As a Navy Healthcare Liaison with over 23 years of experience in the US Navy, I am committed to improving the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery and policy for the Naval medical community. I hold a Master of Science in Manpower and Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, and I am a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).In my current role at the US Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, I provide expert advice and guidance on legislative and budgetary matters related to Navy Medicine, leveraging my skills in operational planning, training, and computer literacy. I have also completed a Naval Legislative Fellowship at the Office of Rep Derek Kilmer, where I gained valuable insight and experience in the legislative process and the congressional oversight of Navy Medicine. In my previous roles, I have performed a variety of nursing tasks in different settings and locations, including humanitarian and trauma care during deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Continuing Promise. I am passionate about serving the nursing community and advancing the Navy Medicine mission.
