As Vice President for Advancement at SOS Outreach, I provided strategic leadership, planning, and guidance for fundraising efforts and managed all development-related programs, overseeing a budget of $7.5M. Key achievements include setting a visionary direction for the full-scale development program, cultivating and stewarding major gifts, and identifying new strategic sources to expand program impact nationwide. I served as the primary relationship manager for signature events and developed a remote development team that consistently exceeded revenue targets.

During my tenure as Development and Marketing Director, I built and led a successful fundraising team, growing cash revenue from $1.1M (2015) to $2.4M (2023). I designed and directed fundraising strategies across diverse revenue streams, including individual donors, special events, grants, foundation giving, and corporate giving. I led community development efforts across 24 communities and nine states, managing a portfolio of 135 key strategic supporters and overseeing a team pacing toward revenue projections totaling $6.5M. Additionally, I managed significant corporate partnerships and directed all marketing and external communication efforts.

As a Fundraising Consultant for the Eagle Valley Community Foundation, I played a key role in the successful launch of the organization. My responsibilities included developing a prospect database, launching a founding major donor campaign, creating marketing and communication assets, and securing AmeriCorps funding to support community-wide initiatives.

In my role as Business & Development Manager, I led annual fund campaigns and initiatives, overseeing special events, direct marketing, individual donors, grant writing, and corporate and government giving. I successfully grew annual revenues from $1.4M to $2M.

One year AmeriCorps VISTA term followed by one year of full time employment focused on fund development for youth-centered coalition members to advance efforts for out-of-school opportunities for Eagle County youth. Responsible for the development and implementation community outreach plans targeting community-wide stakeholders and supported executive director in financial management including cash flow management, budgeting, and planning. Key success that solidified my professional journey as a fundraiser was the securing of a statewide 3-year grant to support out-of-school opportunities benefiting over 7,000 Eagle County kids and teens.
