Developed algorithms to identify genes and pathways correlated with the progression of Alzheimer’s disease.

Worked for the Algorithms department of the Blue Brain Project. Developed software to synthesize neuron morphologies of different cell types using diffusive particle dynamics to “grow” a population of neurons in parallel, allowing growing neurons to interact with each other and create realistic neuronal arbors.

Wrote Matlab code to create generative models of neuron shape and to synthesize images ofneurons that are statistically similar to microscopy image training data as part of the CellOrganizerproject.

Developed software for the Picard pipeline, a set of tools for processing and analyzing next generation sequencing data.
