I am an educator, designer, and diversity consultant with over 20 years of experience transforming educational and community spaces—both physical and cultural—into inclusive environments where young people can thrive. My work spans school leadership, K-12 design, large-scale program management, and facilitation, all grounded in a commitment to equity and healing. As a founding staff member of a public school, I developed systems and programs rooted in equity and community values, elevating voices to create inclusive, student-centered environments. This experience solidified my understanding of how to transform schools into spaces where every student succeeds. As a districtwide coach for 25 phase-out schools, I partnered with leaders to dismantle entrenched inequities, building systems that honored the dignity of all students and addressed the collective trauma of underserved communities. In alternative education settings, I created curriculum and systems tailored to students navigating profound inequities and systemic discrimination. My ability to address these challenges head-on reflects my belief in the power of education to disrupt cycles of oppression and foster resilience. My background as an interior designer specializing in K-12 spaces further allows me to align physical environments with pedagogy and community goals. Whether collaborating with architects in Memphis or Casablanca, I have ensured that design decisions support inclusive, student-centered learning while addressing the inequities that often permeate educational spaces. As a program director, I’ve led initiatives like the Willesden READS program, which has brought Holocaust education and social-emotional learning (SEL) to over 300,000 students worldwide. These efforts demonstrated my ability to scale impactful programs, bridging societal needs with school-based learning to cultivate empathy and healing.Beyond education, I have facilitated critical conversations with over 2,000 law enforcement professionals on hate crimes, violent extremism, and inclusive policing, highlighting my ability to engage diverse stakeholders in addressing systemic inequities.I am deeply passionate about creating spaces—physical, cultural, and interpersonal—that inspire humanity’s best. From redesigning schools to fostering empathy in communities, my work reflects a lifelong commitment to equity and innovation. Based in New Orleans, LA, I’m excited to continue building transformative environments that uplift and empower individuals and communities alike.
