TA for PP315 lab and ENT425

Worked with Dr. Anders Huseth to optimize trap methodology for wireworms in sweetpotato systems.

Part-time English and Science tutoring. English is tutored to students ranging from middle school to university level, while science is tutored to students ranging from elementary school to high school.

Assists with various group projects in both the lab and field setting in Dr. Phil Hahn's lab. Tasks include performing chemical assays, maintaining common garden plants, trichome counting, seed processing, and insect collection.

Volunteering performed on a weekly basis for 2-4 hours. Involved with the pinning and spreading of butterflies, as well as the curation of Satyrinae species.

Varied research tasks during Spring/Fall school semesters for 9-12 hours a week with Dr. Phil Hahn in the Entomology department. Tasks often include seed analysis using a stereomicroscope, greenhouse management, and data analysis with R. Also assists and manages research projects. Current research project involves how the closure of Mimosa pudica plants is affected by multiple types of stressors.

Participated in a remote, 10-week REU program to analyze the relationship between moss morphology and precipitation. Tasks consisted of reading and summarizing bryophyte literature,using ImageJ to process and measure moss leaves and cells, collecting data with Excel, and visualizing data with R. Attendance of seminars on research and graduate programs were also a large component of the program. At the end of a program, I presented a 15-minute talk on my research and submitted a final paper.
