General Counsel responsibilities for this technology company included managing corporate patent/trademark portfolio, advising management team on corporate legal matters, drafting and negotiating contracts with government agencies and third party government contractors, drafting and negotiating legal agreements for business development, analyzing software and application requirements and drafting appropriate contracts and agreements, drafting and implementing corporate policies and procedures, and other corporate legal matters. Supervised law clerks and outside counsel, assigned, managed and review legal work. Reduced general corporate legal budget over 20 percent by effectively utilizing internal resources. Product Management responsibilities included the creation, development and management of web-based applications and software for the legal industry. Manage products from design, write vision documentation and business analysis, monitor budgetary constraints, supervise development and development team, present products for review, analysis and user acceptance, prepare and manage documentation, supervise beta and release of products, attend trade shows and sales events. Responsible for all levels of sales effort, including writing of marketing materials, drafting and implementation of training programs and integration opportunities. Created and presented sales and training presentations for those within the legal industry, including court reporters, paralegals, lawyers and judges. Increased revenues during tenure as Director by 25 percent, while significantly reducing costs.

National Director of career development for this ABA-approved post secondary educational program. Responsible for compliance of state and national requirements for licensing and accreditation.
